Viridiana “Viry” Aguilar is the CEO and founder of Viivantra, a budgeting app helping users manage their finances more intuitively. Based in Mexico City, she has participated in international startup programs and experienced firsthand how being close to ecosystems like Silicon Valley can accelerate growth.

She recently obtained her U.S. visa with Tukki.

Q: How did you hear about Tukki, and what made you decide to start your visa process?

V: I always dreamed about moving out of my country, but everything started last year when I began working with my startup. I joined different programs and realized Silicon Valley helps you move faster if you want to achieve certain things.

A founder friend told me about Tukki and completely recommended it. That’s when I decided to start my process, and finally, I got my visa.

Q: What were your biggest concerns before applying?

V: You hear many success stories and think it will be easy, but when you actually look for a lawyer, the challenge is finding someone who takes your case as personally as you do.

I’m not a lawyer, and there are so many details in these processes. I needed someone patient who could explain every step clearly. Before Tukki, I couldn’t find that guidance, and I was overwhelmed by so much information and so many new terms.

Q: How was your experience working with the Tukki team?

V: I’m completely grateful. The responses were fast — everything was very good. It wasn’t just Ramiro; the whole team had the same helpful and kind vibe. Everyone was open to help and kept me updated at every stage.

Things happened quickly, and even if they were busy, they always let me know and followed up. That mindset makes a big difference.

Q: How did you feel when your visa was approved?

V: I was so happy! It was stressful at the beginning, but once I finished the process, I came to Mexico for my stamp and finally felt at peace. I’m happy, excited for the next steps, and my family and friends noticed that right away.

This was a very important step for me — it made a big difference.

“Getting the approval felt like peace — I could finally stop worrying about every detail and focus on building my company.” — Viry

Q: What would you tell other founders considering this visa?

V: At the beginning, one of my main concerns was budget, because this is not a cheap process — it’s an investment. Don’t focus only on price; you might find a cheaper firm, but you’ll miss other things that matter more.

What really matters is having the right information and a team that customizes the service to your case. Everyone’s situation is different, so it’s important to feel they care about your process, not just another file.

“It’s not just about price — it’s about having a team that adapts the process to your case and treats it like their own.” — Viry
