Daniel Baiz has lived in the U.S. for over 17 years and built his career in cybersecurity as the CEO of One Axiom, a company helping organizations strengthen their digital security. His immigration path spanned multiple visas — from student and work permits to the O-1 — before applying for his EB-1A green card with Tukki.

Q: What brought you to the U.S.?

D: I moved when I was 18 to pursue my education. I studied engineering at Purdue University, worked between Boston and New York, and later completed my MBA at Harvard. My decision was driven by the opportunity to grow academically and professionally in a global environment.

Q: How was your immigration journey before finding Tukki?

D: I’ve been through different immigration processes for as long as I can remember — H-1Bs, F-1s, OPTs, O-1s. Each step was stressful because these cases are very important for you, but for many firms, you’re just one in hundreds of clients. It was difficult to get attention or even a reply sometimes.

“It’s painful and stressful — you just want to make sure your case is strong enough to get approved.” — Daniel

Q: How did you find Tukki, and what stood out from the experience?

D: I learned about Tukki through referrals and positive word of mouth. From the beginning, the team was very responsive and knowledgeable. I could see exactly where my process was at any moment through their platform — upload documents, respond to comments, review feedback.

That clarity made a big difference compared to other law firms I had worked with in the past.

“The team was extremely responsive, supportive, and the platform made everything much easier.” — Daniel

Q: How did you feel when your EB-1A visa was approved?

D: I felt extremely relieved and satisfied. The Tukki team called me on a video call to tell me the news — everyone was there. It was a really gratifying moment, a before-and-after feeling after so many years of uncertainty.

Q: What would you tell others about the visa process?

D: Responsiveness and support are the most important things. For you, it’s the most important case, so you need a team that treats it that way. Tukki was always available and proactive — that made the process less stressful.

“Responsiveness and support make all the difference. Tukki was always there when I needed them.” — Daniel

Tukki team’s support was fast and responsive. I literally had someone responding in a couple of hours—sometimes even within minutes—so whenever I was a bit lost, there was always someone to help me out.
