FAQs
Is the visa or green card guaranteed by USCIS if I win the contest?
Winning the contest does not guarantee a visa, as the final decision rests with the US government. However, Tukki will cover the full service fee for your application and provide expert guidance throughout the process to maximize your chances of approval. Ultimately, it’s up to the US immigration authorities to determine if you meet the eligibility criteria for the visa. Please note that the winning prizes do not include government fees.
What visas or green cards could I apply to via Tukki in this contest?
You can apply to the O-1A nonimmigrant visa or to the EB-1A immigrant visa
The O-1A visa is a nonimmigrant visa for individuals with extraordinary ability in fields such as science, education, business, or athletics. It’s designed for people who can demonstrate sustained national or international acclaim and recognition for their achievements. If approved, the visa allows you to live and work in the US, typically for up to three years, with the possibility of extensions.
The EB-1A is an employment-based immigrant visa for individuals with extraordinary ability in fields like science, art, education, business, or athletics. Unlike the O-1A, it’s a path to a green card, meaning it offers permanent residency in the US. To qualify, you must show evidence of sustained national or international acclaim and that your achievements place you among the top in your field. It’s one of the fastest routes to getting a green card for highly accomplished individuals.
What happens if I win but something has changed and I can’t apply for the visa?
If you win but circumstances change and you’re unable to apply for the visa, don’t worry—you can transfer the prize to a co-founder. They will need to meet the eligibility requirements for the visa, and the Tukki team will assist them through the application process, just like they would have with you.
